Elsya : Journal of English Language Studies is a campus-based and open-access journal that aims to disseminate knowledge and generate debate on theoretical or real-world research related to English language studies particularly in developing and emerging countries. The topic may range from educational concerns to everyday issues, offering a real contribution to the local community. The journal publishes volumes three times a year on February, June and October, presenting nine accepted manuscripts evaluated in at least two rounds of peer reviews.

Sinta 2 Accreditation: Celebrating Another Milestone

It is with immense gratitude and pride that we announce a significant milestone for Elsya: Journal of English Language Studies. As officially stated in the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology No. 72/E/KPT/2024, dated April 1, 2024, Elsya has been successfully elevated to SINTA 2 accreditation status.

This new accreditation is effective from Volume 5 Issue 2 of 2023 through to Volume 10 Issue 1 of 2028. This marks a major leap in our academic journey. The achievement of SINTA 2 reflects the unwavering dedication of our editorial board, the rigorous commitment of our reviewers, and the trust of authors who have chosen to publish with us. We express our deepest gratitude to Universitas Lancang Kuning, our publishing institution, for its continuous support, as well as to the broader academic community, our international collaborators, and loyal readers who have contributed to Elsya’s progress.

We are committed to maintaining and exceeding these standards by fostering scholarly excellence and becoming a reputable platform for high-quality research in English language studies, pedagogy, literacy, and cultural discourse.

Let us take this moment as a springboard for future advancements, wider collaborations, and deeper contributions to the global academic landscape.

In Progress Publication Policy

Starting on Elsya Volume 3 No. 1, 2021, the Editor decided to design “in progress” publication policy which means all the accepted paper in Elsya Journal will be swiftly posted in the Open Journal System (OJS) web to ensure the rapid knowledge-sharing among academia regarding English-related studies. Sinta 3 Accreditation: A Big Leap of Success

Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim.
Assalamu'alaikum... and Good Morning Everyone

Based on the Decree of the Ministry of Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number B/1796/E5.2/KI.02.00/2020 concerning the results of the Accreditation of Scientific Journals Period III in the end of 2020, Elsya: Journal of English Language Studies received "The SINTA 3" rank in its first accreditation application. Congratulations!

A big thank you to the Senate of Universitas Lancang Kuning, Pekanbaru, Indonesia, the Central RJI Team, RJI Pengda Riau, the entire team of editors and reviewers as well as all authors who have entrusted publication in our journal.

Hopefully, Elsya Journal (P-ISSN: 2684-7620 E-ISSN: 2684-9224) can become an outstanding medium for scientific publication and reference in English language studies.
