Abstract

Problems faced by junior high school teachers in Lima Kaum District, Tanah Datar Regency, include a lack of understanding of the importance of learning media, limited training, low confidence in using technology, and a lack of skills in developing questions based on higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). This community service activity aims to improve teachers' competency in developing technology-based learning media using the Canva application and developing HOTS-based questions. Implementation methods include coordination with partners, theoretical and practical training, product development assistance, and evaluation of training outcomes. The results of the activity indicate an increase in teachers' skills in designing creative and effective learning media and their ability to develop HOTS-based questions. The outputs of the activity include an article published in the ABDIMAS UMTAS Journal (Sinta 4), a publication in ANTARA News, and a video documentation published on YouTube. This activity is expected to improve the quality of learning in schools and encourage teacher innovation in the teaching and learning process.
