Publication Fee/Charge

Jurnal Ilmiah Pertanian (JIP) applies the following publication fees to support journal operations while ensuring that editorial decisions remain independent of authors’ ability to pay.

Article Submission Fee

Free of Charge

Article Processing / Publication Charge (APC)

IDR 750,000 (approximately USD 50)
The APC is charged only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

Waivers and Discounts

Jurnal Ilmiah Pertanian (JIP) is committed to promoting equitable access to scholarly publishing. APC waivers and discounts are available for corresponding authors from low- and lower-middle-income economies, including countries aligned with Research4Life eligibility.

Editorial Independence and APC Policy

To ensure that editorial decisions are never influenced by financial considerations, JIP strictly separates editorial decision-making from APC administration.

Editors and reviewers are not involved in any correspondence related to APC payments, waivers, or discounts. All APC-related matters are handled exclusively by administrative staff after a manuscript has been accepted for publication. Authors are therefore requested not to discuss APC-related issues with editors.
