This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Submission: Free of Charge (Gratis)

Article Processing/Publishing Charges  (APC): 750.000 IDR (=50 USD)

However, in response to this   COVID-19 global pandemic, JIP's editorial board encourages the scientific community to address this massive disruption openly and collaboratively. JIP announces the offering discount of the Article Publication Charge (APC) 30% to all authors that published their article in Jurnal Ilmiah Pertanian (JIP) during 2021. The authors of the selected articles only have to pay 500,000 IDR (= 35 USD) for APC. 

Waivers and Discounts

For authors publishing in  JIP journals, it offers waivers and discounts to corresponding authors based in developing countries.

To ensure that editorial decisions are never influenced by the ability to pay, it is JIP journal policy that editors of open access journals are not involved in correspondence with authors regarding payment of Article Publication Charges (APCs). The automatic waiver system will be managed by administrative staff not involved in decisions regarding article acceptance. We ask authors not to discuss any issues concerning payment with editors.

In addition to the Research4Life countries listed below, some journals may offer additional waiver initiatives for APCs. These additional APC waivers will be managed by the editors and may be discussed with them.

Automatic Waivers

Corresponding authors based in the following countries are eligible to receive an automatic waiver for APCs* when publishing in JIP journal:

*Automatic waivers will only be applied if the corresponding author requests a waiver at the payment step during article submission.

Discounts

Corresponding authors based in the following countries are eligible to apply for 30-50% discount on APCs* when publishing in a JIP journal:

*Automatic discounts can only be applied if the corresponding author selects to pay directly or arrange for payment at the payment step during article submission.
