Jurnal Ilmiah Pertanian (JIP) is a peer-reviewed open access journal published by Universitas Lancang Kuning that focuses on agricultural science and sustainable land use in tropical agroecosystems. The journal particularly addresses agricultural systems in Southeast Asia and other tropical regions, which are key areas for global food production and sustainability challenges.
The journal publishes original research and reviews covering agronomy and crop science, soil and plant sciences, crop protection, sustainable agricultural inputs, agro-industrial innovation, and socio-economic studies related to agriculture, including value chain analysis and agricultural risk management. JIP also welcomes interdisciplinary contributions addressing environmental dimensions of agriculture, including land use change, climate change impacts, and agro-ecosystem sustainability.
JIP was initially published twice a year (February and August). Since Volume 19 (2022), the journal has adopted a triannual publication schedule, with issues released in March, July, and December. All articles are published online through the journal’s official website. All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process.
