Jurnal Ilmiah Pertanian (JIP) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes applied and strategic research in tropical and smallholder agricultural systems, which represent key regions for global food production and sustainability challenges. The journal covers agronomy and crop science, soil and plant sciences, crop protection, sustainable agricultural inputs, agro-industrial innovation, and socio-economic studies, including value chain analysis and agricultural risk management. JIP also welcomes interdisciplinary contributions addressing environmental dimensions of agriculture, such as land use, climate change impacts, and agro-ecosystem sustainability.
Initially, Jurnal Ilmiah Pertanian (JIP) was published twice a year, in February and August. Since Volume 19 (2022), the journal has adopted a triannual publication schedule, with issues released in March, July, and December. All issues are published electronically through the journal’s official website.
