This research was motivated by the low levels of early childhood literacy, which were primarily caused by excessive exposure to digital gadgets and a lack of parental involvement within the home environment. The study aimed to explore in depth how the Gerakan Mendongeng Bersama Ibu program, initiated by an educational institution, could reactivate the role of mothers at home as primary stimulators in fostering early childhood literacy. This study utilized a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observations, and documentation. The analysis techniques involved data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while the theoretical framework was underpinned by the Ecological Systems Theory. The findings indicated that the implementation of the program at the Melati Putih early childhood education institution was an effective initiative in creating a collaborative network between educational institutions, community reading centers, and families to cultivate early literacy. By involving mothers as educators, the program succeeded in minimizing children's dependence on digital screens while simultaneously preparing them cognitively and emotionally for formal schooling. The program transformed the role of the mother from a passive caregiver into an active facilitator of literacy, thereby strengthening the home literacy environment. In conclusion, the community-based storytelling program proved to be a strategic model for enhancing literacy habits, suggesting that structured institutional support and parental engagement are essential for the foundational development of early childhood literacy
