Peran Mahasiswa Part Time dalam Pengembangan Book Club sebagai Gerakan Literasi di Perpustakaan UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pengembangan budaya literasi di perguruan tinggi melalui program berbasis komunitas yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif mahasiswa. Salah satu program yang dikembangkan perpustakaan UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta adalah kegiatan book club “Ngobrol Pintar” yang dikelola bersama mahasiswa part time. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran mahasiswa part time dalam pengembangan book club sebagai gerakan literasi di perpustakaan perguruan tinggi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap mahasiswa part time, pustakawan, dan peserta book club. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa part time memiliki peran penting dalam pengelolaan kegiatan book club, mulai dari perencanaan, promosi, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi kegiatan. Mahasiswa part time juga berperan sebagai agen penggerak literasi melalui pemanfaatan media sosial dan komunikasi langsung dengan mahasiswa lain. Kegiatan book club memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan minat baca, kemampuan berpikir kritis, keterampilan komunikasi, serta pengembangan wawasan mahasiswa melalui ruang diskusi dan pertukaran gagasan. Meskipun masih menghadapi kendala seperti keterbatasan waktu, fasilitas, dan partisipasi peserta yang belum stabil, kegiatan book club memiliki potensi untuk terus dikembangkan sebagai gerakan literasi berbasis komunitas di lingkungan perguruan tinggi.
