INFRASTRUKTUR JALAN DAN KESEMPATAN KERJA DI INDONESIA: PENDEKATAN VECTOR AUTOREGRESSIVE

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh infrastruktur jalan terhadap pekerjaan di Indonesia. Menggunakan time-series dari 1986-2013, uji kointegrasi Johanson digunakan untuk menentukan hubungan jangka panjang antara variabel. Vector autoregressive (VAR) digunakan untuk menguji hubungan jangka pendek antara dua variabel. Studi ini menemukan bahwa dalam jangka panjang, tidak ada hubungan antara infrastruktur jalan dan pekerjaan. Dalam jangka pendek, infrastruktur jalan dipengaruhi secara signifikan olehnya. Serupa dengan pekerjaan juga secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh diri sendiri untuk cakrawala satu periode. Uji kausalitas Granger menunjukkan bahwa ada kausalitas searah yang berjalan dari pekerjaan ke infrastruktur jalan
