Lower-extremity muscle cramps can cause sudden pain and restrict daily activities. This community service activity aimed to improve Muhammadiyah cadres’ knowledge of recognizing, preventing, and providing initial care for muscle cramps in RT 02, Dusun Jetis, Gentan, Indonesia. Thirty cadres participated in an educational session combining explanation, demonstration, guided practice, simulation, and discussion. Knowledge was assessed before and immediately after training. The mean score increased from 47.87 (SD = 3.58) to 85.33 (SD = 4.16), a difference of approximately 37.46 points; the paired Wilcoxon test indicated a statistically significant change (p < .001). All participants scored at least 70 on the post-test. The evaluation primarily demonstrates short-term knowledge improvement; objective skill performance and retention were not quantified. Follow-up assessment using a standardized skills checklist is recommended.
