Enhancing Digital Competence through Content Marketing Optimization Training with AI Support for Students of Riau Provincial Sports Senior High School

Digital transformation demands that young generations act not only as technology consumers but also as strategic digital content creators. This community service program aimed to enhance the digital competence of students at SMA Negeri Olahraga, Riau Province, through a training program on AI-based content marketing. Conducted through a collaborative and practical approach, the program utilized tools such as ChatGPT and ChatGPT Image Generator. A total of 55 students participated fully in the training, which resulted in a significant improvement in competence, reflected by an increase in the average test scores from 52.3 (pre-test) to 82.6 (post-test). Participants successfully created various types of digital content including educational posters, personal branding materials, and school event promotions—demonstrating creativity and strategic thinking. Positive responses from school stakeholders affirmed that the training not only improved technical skills but also raised awareness on the productive use of digital technology. The program has proven to be effective and holds strong potential for replication in other educational institutions to support digital literacy development.
