Pelatihan Integrasi Etnosains dalam Pembelajaran Inquiry pada Guru IPAS SMKS Kesehatan Proskill Indonesia Pekanbaru

The Independent Curriculum emphasizes an inquiry learning approach that encourages students to be active, critical, and independent. The integration of ethnosciences provides a concrete and applicative context that can motivate students to learn more deeply. The integration of ethnoscience in science learning not only enriches teaching materials, but also respects cultural diversity and strengthens character education. Based on the problems faced by teachers of SMKS Kesehatan Proskill Indonesia and the urgency of improving education in Indonesia, there is a need for training on integrating ethnoscience in inquiry learning to improve the professionalism of teachers. Through this training, high school teachers can become more adaptive learning facilitators, able to integrate ethnoscience principles in inquiry learning, and present subject matter that meets the requirements of the Independent curriculum, Industrial Revolution 5.0, and 21st century skills. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest, it can be concluded that the training increased insight and skills in the integration of ethnoscience in inquiry learning in teachers of SMKS Kesehatan Indonesia Pekanbaru, which was 79.55%. The survey results showed that the trainees were very satisfied with the delivery, implementation, and usefulness of the activities.
