Abstract

Low student engagement in vocational theory lessons at the vocational high school (SMK) level is often attributed to a lack of varied, responsive, and stimulating instructional media. This community service project aims to test and implement "AI Napkin For Education" to optimize visual stimuli and foster interactive student participation. The implementation process comprises four stages: analyzing instructional needs, training on AI-based visual idea sketching, classroom implementation, and evaluating program outcomes. Results indicate a significant increase in students' responsive engagement during class discussions and demonstrate that the platform enables educators to deliver technical material more dynamically. Implementing this platform is recommended as part of digital pedagogical innovation within vocational education settings. This initiative offers a solution through the adoption of AI Napkin For Education, an AI-powered platform for the rapid and interactive processing of visual concepts. The program involved a qualitative analysis of classroom media needs, a workshop on creating interactive instructional media, teaching simulations, and an evaluation of the impact on learning stimulation. The results of this intervention show that AI Napkin media effectively enhances student attention, clarifies the visualization of complex vocational subject matter, and encourages students to participate actively in discussions.
