PETA KONDISI PERPUSTAKAAN SEKOLAH DASAR DI PEKANBARU

Abstract
School Accreditation has demanded a complete learning tool, one of which is the library. The demands made several educational institutions managers juggle a room to be used as a library. As a result of the magic-juggling, many schools which then have seadaya library. This attracted the attention of researchers to see how the condition of the school library, especially primary schools in the city of Pekanbaru. The method used in this study is a questionnaire and survey methods. Through the method is expected to obtain a picture of the condition of the existing elementary school library in the city of Pekanbaru. The results of the study will be used as the basis of the guidelines of cooperation between the University of Lancang Kuning, especially Studies Program Library with the library manager Elementary School in the city of Pekanbaru. The results showed that there are several aspects such as library staff, library staff education, minimum area, completeness of the type of collection, and application of information technology is still not being met by some primary schools in Pekanbaru. These conditions provide opportunities for cooperation between Unilak with SD in Pekanbaru. Therefore, it is expected Unilak can immediately seized the opportunity to enter into an agreement in the form of training or distribution of graduates with a primary manager in Peknbaru.

Abstrak
Akreditasi sekolah telah menuntut adanya sebuah sarana belajar yang lengkap, salah satunya adalah perpustakaan. Tuntutan tersebut membuat beberapa pengelola lembaga pendidikan menyulap sebuah ruangan untuk dijadikan sebagai ruang perpustakaan. Sebagaimana hasil dari sulap-menyulap, banyak sekolah yang kemudian memiliki perpustakaan yang seadaya. Hal ini menarik perhatian peneliti untuk melihat bagaimana kondisi perpustakaan sekolah, terutama sekolah dasar di Kota Pekanbaru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode angket dan survey. Melalui metode tersebut diharapkan dapat diperoleh gambaran mengenai kondisi perpustakaan sekolah dasar yang ada di Kota Pekanbaru. Hasil penelitian nantinya dapat dijadikan sebagai dasar pedoman kerjasama antara Universitas Lancang Kuning, khususnya Program Studi Ilmu Perpustakaan dengan pengelola perpustakaan Sekolah Dasar di Kota Pekanbaru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa aspek seperti tenaga perpustakaan, pendidikan tenaga perpustakaan, luas minimal dan pembagian ruangan, jenis koleksi, dan penerapan teknologi informasi masih belum terpenuhi oleh beberapa SD di Pekanbaru. Kondisi ini memberikan peluang kerjasama antara Unilak dengan SD di Pekanbaru. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan Unilak dapat segera menangkap peluang tersebut dengan mengadakan kerjasama dalam bentuk pelatihan ataupun penyaluran lulusan dengan pengelola SD yang ada di Peknbaru.
