Conflict of Interest Policy
Jurnal Ilmiah Pertanian (JIP) requires disclosure and management of potential conflicts of interest to maintain confidence in editorial decisions and published research.
1. Authors
Authors must disclose financial and non-financial interests that could reasonably be perceived to influence the research or its reporting, such as grants, employment, consultancy, ownership interests, patents, close personal relationships, and relevant institutional or professional connections. A declaration of no competing interests should be provided when applicable. Funding sources must be disclosed separately.
2. Reviewers
Invited reviewers must disclose relevant conflicts before accepting an assignment and decline to review where impartiality or independence could be compromised. They must preserve confidentiality and must not use privileged manuscript information for personal benefit.
3. Editors
Editors must not handle manuscripts involving relationships or interests that may compromise impartiality. Such manuscripts will be assigned to an editor without the relevant conflict. Manuscript decisions are independent of article processing charges or author status.
4. Publication and Post-Publication
Relevant author conflict-of-interest declarations should accompany the published article. Omitted or inaccurate disclosures may be investigated and, when necessary, corrected through an appropriate published notice.
